astrology and the journey of life
A note from Master Joseph Yu:
“Divination and astrology are two entirely different things. Divination is determining the appropriate change to achieve the desired result. Astrology in the broad sense is the study of qi at a certain moment. If this certain moment is the birth moment of a person, then the qi chart can be used to describe the path of life of the person. There are certain points we have to note:
(1) The path of life is not a line (curve) but an area bounded by two lines (curves). The person is free to walk his path closer to the upper line or the lower line. It is his choice.
(2) On the path of life, there are good things and bad things including good people and bad people. These things and people come to interact with the person. A good astrologer can read the character of the person and make an educated guess of his reaction when he encounters these things in life.
(3) Yet, nothing is certain. Analysis can only tell what is more probable but even the person himself does not know his character very well. There are chances that a person may change his mind and act contrary to what he normally does. This will affect the outcome and everything afterwards.
(4) A good life reading is to tell the person what he can expect to encounter and according to his character based on the chart, he will probably do certain things. However, sometimes what is probable actually leads to bad consequences. It is the understanding of the entire picture that makes life reading valuable. Life reading is not to tell what is written on the rocks before it happens and that nothing can change it. Life reading is to help a person to make a wise choice.
Therefore, an accurate chart is most important. What constitutes an accurate chart? Of course, it is the accurate birth moment according to the local time calibrated with the sun's position. The clock does not tell you the true time because it is an instrument to tell the time regulated by the government for convenience. Adjustment has to be made according to scientific theories. Getting the accurate chart is where science comes into play.
